At Nissae Souss, we recognize that the loss of a spouse can leave women in a state of profound emotional, financial, and social vulnerability — especially in contexts where widows face stigma, isolation, or lack of legal and economic rights. That’s why we created a dedicated program to support widowed women, helping them not only cope with grief but also rebuild their lives with dignity and autonomy.

This project offers a holistic approach to support, combining several layers of assistance. Women receive emotional and psychological counseling to process their loss and trauma in a safe and supportive environment. Our team also provides personalized financial guidance and access to emergency aid to help them stabilize their situation and meet basic needs.

Beyond recovery, the program focuses on empowerment and reintegration. Participants are encouraged to regain confidence through vocational training, entrepreneurship workshops, and small grants to start income-generating activities. They also benefit from legal awareness sessions, helping them understand their rights around inheritance, property, and family responsibilities.

By restoring both emotional strength and economic independence, this initiative enables widowed women to move forward — not in survival mode, but with renewed purpose and the tools to care for themselves and their families. It is a program rooted in compassion, but driven by the belief that every woman deserves the opportunity to rise again.
